Mark E. Atkins
As of November 2002, Mark E. Atkins was appointed the chief executive officer and president of Invention Machine. Prior to joining Invention Machine, Mr. Atkins was chairman, president, and CEO of Vality Technology Incorporated, which evolved from a 3-person startup in 1990 to a position of market leader in the data quality/enterprise information integration sector to the Global 5000. In 2002, Mr. Atkins sold Vality to Ascential Software Corporation for a cash transaction valued at over 100 million dollars. Before joining Vality, Mr. Atkins was the Senior Vice President of Computer Solutions (the precursor to Powersoft), where he served as a key contributor to building the company from a five-person startup to a nationally recognized enterprise. Powersoft evolved as the global innovator in the client server tools market segment, and was ultimately acquired by Sybase in 1994. As National Sales Manager for the Data Networking division at Honeywell Information Systems, Mr. Atkins was responsible for the global revenues of the division. Earlier in his career, he held executive management positions at Service Bureau Corporation (a former IBM subsidiary), Polaroid Corporation, and BayBank (acquired by BankBoston, and currently a part of Fleet Boston Corporation). Mr. Atkins received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Massachusetts, an advanced degree from the American Institute of Banking, and a Masters of Business in Finance and Accounting from Babson College.

Fred Fraenkel
Fred Fraenkel is the Chairman of Millennium 3 Capital, a firm specializing in early stage investing. Before 1998, Mr. Fraenkel was Vice Chairman of ING Barings Furman Selz and Chief Operating Officer of Furman Selz LLC. Before joining Furman Selz in March 1995, Mr. Fraenkel spent nine years at Lehman Brothers where he managed and developed Lehman's all star global research department that was ranked #1 by Insitutional Investor in 1990, 1991 and 1992. Prior to Lehman Brothers, Mr. Fraenkel was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Market America Group, an investment advisory firm. He also spent four and a half years as Director of Equity Research and a member of the Board of Directors at Prudential Securities. Mr. Fraenkel began his Wall Street career in 1974 as a securities analyst with Goldman Sachs & Company, and was Chief Investment Strategist for E.F. Hutton from 1980 to 1982.Mr. Fraenkel received a B.S. in Economics and Finance from Lehigh University, and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Venetia Kontogouris
Venetia Kontogouris is a Managing Director at Trident Capital. Previously, Ms. Kontogouris was President of Enterprise Associates, LLC, the venture capital division of IMS Health Incorporated, and has held various venture capital positions since 1989. Before that, as Senior Vice President, Venture Development, at Cognizant Corporation she represented Cognizant in the Information Partners Capital Fund, formed by Dun & Bradstreet and Bain Capital. Ms. Kontogouris has held executive positions in new product development and marketing at D&B and sales management positions at AT&T and IBM. She has also launched her own start-up telecommunications company. Ms. Kontogouris received a B.A., Northeastern University and an M.B.A., University of Chicago, Graduate School of Business.
